This registered charity runs community allotments in Kirkby Stephen for local residents. The boundary wall of the allotments is unsafe and the group will use an award to rebuild this with traditional dry stone method. A local contractor will complete the majority of the work but a group of local young farmers will assist over a weekend learning new traditional skills.
