West Norfolk Befriending supports socially isolated older people, many of whom have hearing problems or are in long-term care. It matches clients with a trained volunteer befriender, reducing isolation. The award will fund staff and volunteer training, three social gatherings to help clients reintegrate into the community, and a laptop computer.
