The group run a large multi-purpose communty centre which provides, for example, a creche, exercise classes, talks and workshops. The award will allow the association to landscape the area outside the entrance to the centre through its cafe, encouraging people to come into the centre and use the facilities on offer. It will also fund improvements to the cafe itself and provide equipment for volunteers to serve cheap refreshments.
