Funded through Support and Connect this project will support increased demand for welfare rights advice in the Western Isles, where the impacts of the recession and welfare reform are coupled with geographical isolation. Improved capacity within the service will support people in increasing or maintaining their income. Improved quality of life and well-being will result from reciprocal referrals to partner organsiations such as the food banks, social landlords, local authorities and fuel poverty experts.
