Swaffham Befrienders (360G-tnlcomfund-0030087919)

This project provides a befriending scheme for isolated older people in Swaffham. It improves the quality of life, maintain independence and improve well being. A befriending co-ordinator will be employed to recruit and train new volunteers to expanded the service. Befrienders will arrange social visits which might involve a cup of tea and a chat, activities such as board games, or a walk or visit to the local shops, as well as accompanying older people to attend social activities, such as lunch clubs.
