This pilot scheme has been set up to investigate new ways of working more closely with communities in Scotland to meet their needs more closely as part of the Our Place programme. This is a support contract made to the Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT) to enable the CRT to work with local people and groups in the Newmains area to stimulate demand and ensure that the needs and aspirations of local people are reflected in the lottery funding they receive.
