Healing Arts for Prisoners (360G-tnlcomfund-0030095691)

This study will evaluate the contribution that arts activities can make to the health of offenders during their prison term, looking at physical health, mental health, and general wellbeing. It will also assess whether the arts can support rehabilitation by increasing health and wellbeing, and whether this reduces the likelihood of prisoners re-offending after release. The project will work with both prisoners in the last six months of their sentences and those on long-term and life sentences.
