The Children's Society will lead the Safe Choices project for young women leaving care or leaving young offender institutions. Working in Southwark and Islington the project will provide the young women with practical, therapeutic and advocacy support. It includes counselling and guidance to help the young women build better relationships, improve their self-esteem and cope with peer pressure. Practical help to develop their education, skills and chances for employment will also be provided.
