The Abbey Access Centre in Lincoln aims to support unemployed people towards further education and to improve their life skills with up to one year of support. New groups start every 5 weeks for a 3-stage course. The course includes information, advice and guidance sessions that cover an induction, an assessment of ability in Maths and English, a lesson in CV writing, the production of a CV and training in telephone and interview techniques. Support continues after the course to check on progress.
