The grant will be used to set up six older people's support hubs across different areas of Belfast where they'll run activities aimed at reducing isolation, improving health & confidence & increasing community involvement of older people. They'll work in partnership with Senior Citizens Forums in each of the areas to set up the hubs which will be run in local Housing Association sheltered housing accommodation. Activities run in the hubs could include indoor curling, boccia, dancing/walking, social outings.
