This new project, based in Hulme, will encourage people to participate in activities to improve their local environment. Local people will be recruited as project managers to recruit further volunteers and deliver projects, including work with schools and businesses. An environmental forum will also be established to inform and educate people on sustainability. The aim is to deliver 35 schemes throughout South Manchester over the lifetime of the project including litter picks and area cleanups.
