This project aims to improve the engagement of disadvantaged families especially lone-parents with parenting and mainstream services. The project will provide one to one counselling with parents then additional sessions with extended families to improve confidence, self-esteem and assertiveness. The aim will be to improve relationships, improve integration with the community and increased the take up of services to improve parenting and life skills. The four-year grant will benefit 70 families in Kirkcaldy.
