This project will work across Leeds, primarily with refugees and asylum seekers, supporting them to face and overcome problems such as immigration status, poverty, language barriers and lack of knowledge of the British way of life. The beneficiaries will have a multitude of special needs, their lives having been characterised by turbulence,emotional trauma and family loss. The project will provide information, advice and support on a one-to-one basis to children in vulnerable families, according to need.
