From Family Learning to Further Education and Employment for Women (360G-tnlcomfund-0030109327)

This project will aim to provide further education and employment to women from BME communities, including 16-year-old girls. Many of the participants will have poor literacy and communication skills, and be unlikely to join co-educational institutions because of their social and cultural backgrounds. The population of the area is over 60 per cent BME, many of whom are Asian and African women. The project will provide education and training that leads to qualifications and employment.
