Looked after children and offending: identifying risk and protective factor (360G-tnlcomfund-0030110330)

This 18-month project, in partnership with the Centre for Research on the Child and Family at the University of East Anglia, will determine how children in care who are most at risk of anti-social behaviour, social exclusion and criminal careers can be better identified and supported. These children are twice as likely as others to be cautioned or convicted of offences. Beneficiaries will include 120 young people participating in the research and an estimated 10,000 looked after children who are at risk.
