This is a continuation and expansion of an existing project delivered by The British Red Cross Society (BRC) Leeds. The aim of the project is to mitigate the effects of destitution and empower refugees and asylum seekers (RAS) in South and West Yorkshire to build sustainable lives and positive futures. This will be achieved by equipping them with knowledge of how to help themselves, integrate into local communities and increase independence, self-esteem and confidence.
