The project in Nicaragua aims to strengthen the livelihoods of young people and their families. It will also lead to better access to safe water and enhanced disaster risk reduction planning. Young people will be trained in modern farming practices to enable them to increase yields and improve food security. The project will construct nine rope pump wells, each serving about 80 families. It will also provide rainwater collection tanks to 150 households and set up 120 drip irrigation systems. _x000B__x000B_
