South Down Community Business Focus (360G-tnlcomfund-0030112044)
The village of Ballyward, County Down will use the funding to remodel a community building, turning it into a base of operations for small businesses. They will renovate the upstairs into an office complex for rural sole-trader businesses and the kitchen facilities to enable a social enterprise catering firm to operate from the centre. This will generate income from rental payments made by the small businesses to sustain the facility and enable the setting up of new community enterprises.
