Big Step (360G-tnlcomfund-0030112525)

£198,303

This is a development of an existing project by Cavernoma Alliance UK (CAUK) to improve the lives of those affected by cavernoma through membership of CAUK and the many services it provides. Cavernoma, otherwise known as cerebral cavernous malformations or cavernous angioma, are clusters of abnormal leaky blood vessels found primarily in the brain and spinal cord, which present as haemorrhage. Most people have never heard of this, but they are not rare, with one in six hundred people having at least one.
