The project will carry out a number of energy saving measures designed to improve the energy efficiency of the building. Measures will include the installation of zoning technologies to ensure that heating is only provided in rooms as and when required. Additionally the group proposes to install night setback controls to ensure heating does not stay on all night but shuts off once it reaches a specific temperature. The group also intends replacing existing heating pumps with more energy efficient pumps.
