This is a continuation and expansion of an existing project in Coventry city centre by Abacus Counselling Services Ltd (Abacus) that aims to provide a counselling service to support the disadvantaged within the local community. This project targets unemployed individuals (reinforcing personal skills), ex-offenders (to re-integrate back into society), school pupils with problems such as disruptive behaviour and absenteeism (usually caused by a breakdown of the family unit) and the homeless.
