Developing sustainable small businesses in Malawi (360G-tnlcomfund-0030131990)

£8,102

The project will provide skills training, design and marketing support to women's groups in order to allow them to start new businesses. The project is a critical 'add on' to the lending activity of the charity. There are currently 200 women's groups, made up of 10 to 15 people, which are formed by group leaders. The project will also raise awareness of HIV/Aids within these group settings. The grant, over 4 years, will pay for training, marketing support and business loans for the beneficiaries.
