Young people attending the Acorn Centre have identified the need to provide additional youth cafe opening times, including later evenings and weekend access to the centre. This is to provide a safe and risk free environment where they can relax and enjoy the facilities available. In addition, the buildings to the rear of the centre will be refurbished as workshop premises where young people can be trained to repair and maintain skateboards and BMX bikes as a project activity.
