Delivered in Kent, Medway and East and West Sussex, the project will enable parents/carers to develop the confidence and skills to embed learning into everyday activities through exploring the local coastline with their children. Working with deprived coastal communities, six sets of eight workshops per year will concentrate on topics like coastal history, industry, environmental issues and water safety. Activities include arts and crafts, group games, fact-finding missions and exploration activities.
