Development Trusts Association Scotland Ltd's idea is to lead a new initiative called 'Local People Learning' which will inject new vigour and ideas around the community agenda and seeks to clarify the roles and relationships between the state and the community sector. The community sector will encourage the wider engagement of communities in an active debate across all aspects of the community agenda, leading to a healthier and more vibrant civic society in Scotland.
