Skills Training and Enterprise Development for Disadvantaged Young People (360G-tnlcomfund-0030136475)

The project will reduce poverty and social exclusion among vulnerable and disadvantaged young people living in urban and rural areas of The Gambia. Young people will be given training and support to help them secure employment or start their own business. A youth employment advice desk will be set up to provide ongoing support to trainees. Advocacy will also be provided on rights covering issues such as the right to employment, the right not to be discriminated against at work and the right to equal pay.
