This project will target carers and those that they care for, to optimise the welfare benefits that they receive in order to improve their quality of life and reduce their isolation. It will use a variety of methods such as home visits, a telephone help line and specific referrals to ensure that as many beneficiaries as possible receive help from the project, many of whom may otherwise be missed. It will also involve a widespread advertising campaign to highlight the new service.
