Community Connections: volunteers supporting people with learning disabilit (360G-tnlcomfund-0030137704)

This project is to employ a volunteer co-ordinator to recruit and train 15-25 volunteers to work on a one to one basis with 25-30 people with learning disabilities. Volunteers will support the beneficiary group to access and take part in mainstream community activities and reach their full potential. The project also aims to reduce the social isolation of carers by providing them with opportunities to pursue individual interests and share their experiences with other carers.
