The Shopmobility Scheme was set up two years ago to cover the central Orpington area. Due to demand, this project will expand and develop the scheme to improve access to services and opportunities for older people, disabled people and people with short term mobility problems. This will help reduce their isolation through greater personal independence and by addressing access problems, enabling them to become more involved in the community.
