The project will improve the advocacy service for the black and minority ethnic communities, helping to increase access to services and provision. An outreach worker will be recruited to initiate contact with relevant community groups to encourage elders to have a greater say in relation to their needs. The project will also give more older people the chance to actively participate in the community and will improve the capacity of the organisation itself so that it's better able to deliver services.
