The group currently operates 10 different scout and guide groups from their existing run-down facilities. This project will enable the group to build new premises which will be used for a range of scouting and guiding activities as well as local community use, including adult education, lunch club and mothers and toddlers group. The grant, over one year, will contribute to the construction costs of building a new activity centre.
