This project provides a dedicated advocacy service for older people suffering from dementia in the West Lancashire area. The project will recruit, train and support volunteers to provide advocacy partnerships to those who have dementia, to encourage them to become more involved in the decisions affecting their care and treatment, beome aware of choices available and have a voice in local service provision.
