The grant will enable St Clare West Essex Hospice Care Trust to provide a landscaped garden and patio area with furniture, plants and water features for families. It will be next to the family room on the Inpatient Unit and will be maintained by volunteers and patients. The aim of the programme is to provide a private, tranquil space to relax away from the care area, and provide somewhere for outdoor dining, which will have therapeutic benefits for families and patients.
