The group will use the funding for traffic management to ensure the re-enactment of the annual Riding of the Marches of the City of Edinburgh can take place. The Ride involves 280 riders on horseback riding through the streets of Edinburgh to celebrate the return of the Captain of the City Band to Edinburgh after the defeat at the Battle of Flodden in 1513.
