The funding will be used to continue a project to provide debt advice to those living in financial hardship. The project offers a non-judgemental tailored service to families providing an opportunity for them to find solutions to their debt situation. Debt coaches will advocate on behalf of clients in negotiating affordable payments. Peer support will also be provided by trained buddies, many of whom will have previously been clients.
