This project will use surfing to help improve the lives of 720 vulnerable young people aged 8-19 in Cornwall and North Devon. It will help those at risk of mental health problems or social isolation due to traumatic life experiences such as bereavement, disability, sexual or domestic abuse, persistent bullying, family breakdown and those full-time caring for a parent or relative. It offers 12 months of peer mentoring, skills training and volunteering/mentoring opportunities.
