This project works with refugees and asylum seekers to help them become Community Champions who support other new arrivals to the UK. The Champions will be from the same country of origin as those they support and will speak the same language. This will enable them to address issues and concerns, expand local knowledge and help those new to the area settle and integrate into their new lives. The project will be delivered across Blackburn with Darwen.
