This group aims to provide emotional and practical support to ex-detainees as they move from crisis point to a more stable life where there immediate needs are met. This project will support integration and promote social cohesion through advising, supporting and empowering ex-detainees whilst influencing positive policy changes to improve their situation. The group will offer a freephone helpline service, as well as providing asylum support or local authority support, healthcare and legal advice.
