This proposal will allow the group to develop and expand its current community garden for local people living in and around the Govan area of Glasgow. The group will also train local members of the community to grow their own fruit and vegetables with the eventual goal of becoming self-sufficient and assisting with issues of food poverty in the area. To do this they will continue employing a sessional gardener, expand the garden growing area, build a large decking area and plan a calendar of garden events.
