This is a five-year programme designed by a network of partners to deliver a zero-carbon Cumbria. 11 key delivery partners will employ nine members of staff and deliver 16 activity strands within the broad themes of energy food farming and consumption and will be lead by Cumbria Action for Sustainability (CAfS). The organisation has experience of delivering approximately 20 projects annually with sustainability and a low carbon world at the core. This is an ambitious project that has been co-designed by the local community and a wider partnership of 68 organisations. The group has put in place a programme of activities to respond to the individual challenges faced in Cumbria.
