Accessible counselling for adult victims of childhood abuse (360G-tnlcomfund-0045251354)

The group is using funding to provide therapy provision for adults that have experienced abuse during childhood. The funding will enable Aurora to address issues such as loneliness and isolation through their continued counselling but also to develop other wellbeing elements such as workshops classes and social activities. The project aims to make a difference to victims' lives by improving mental health increasing well-being improving family/personal relationships reducing self-harm/suicide risk and reducing problems and symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
