The funding will support older individuals most affected by COVID-19 to get their lives back on track and reconnect with their local communities through direct welfare advice counselling and signposting. The project also aims to create community support networks and social inclusion opportunities for older vulnerable people to engage with to regain confidence and independence reduce feelings of trauma due to the COVID-19 epidemic especially around health and welfare and feel safe to be able participate in activities again.
