This project will allow the group to take cancer patients free of charge from their homes in the North East to their treatment at the Northern Centre for Cancer Care Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne. The cancer patients are at a greater risk of infection during the COVID-19 pandemic and need the support at this difficult time.
