The organisation are using the funding to develop the town’s Mutual Aid community support service established at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic building it into a sustainable volunteer-led practical support advice and friendship service for isolated or vulnerable residents throughout Hastings and St. Leonards. The project will target vulnerable adults generally aged over 24 helping those isolated at home with vital practical help including shopping collecting medicines telephone befriending transport and online advice & information.
