The funding will be used to enable the volunteer-led food aid organisation to build capacity to manage the increased demand it is experiencing for food aid due to the Covid-19 emergency. The aim of the project will ensure that the group's five community food stores can provide enough food to feed the increased numbers of families and young people who were previously in part time and zero hours contract-based work as well as older and vulnerable customers.
