The funding will help develop the charity's core work by taking on three paid employees and an intern and to share the model they have developed with others. Alongside this the Branching Out Project will enable them to engage with more local residents to support them in increasing their social interaction developing skills gaining an improved sense of wellbeing engaging in outdoor nature-based activities volunteering gaining an appreciation for nature and the importance of wild spaces. Other objectives include sharing ways to reduce their environmental impact and helping residents understand their responsibilities and how local actions have global consequences and empowering them to lead their community towards a more eco-conscious lifestyle.
