The funding will be used to deliver Covid-19 response to vulnerable and elderly people as an extension to the group’s existing volunteer-led private ambulance service search and rescue snow support and water rescue. The project will include the delivery of food parcels and medication making welfare visits taking people to GP and hospital appointments transporting Covid tests between locations and any other tasks that support the NHS and local councils.
