The funding will help to deliver fitness-based support to young people with classes on health fitness and nutrition. In addition to the fitness classes there will also be a “Train Our Youth” element of the project which will support older young people who are interested in coaching and personal training to develop their own skills. Through these activities 2TC will train and mentor young people from their community. 2TC’s aim is to “offer education positive health and wellbeing ownership opportunity leadership social/community skills and career prospects” for their beneficiaries. 2TC estimate they will reach between 100 to 150 young people through this proposed project.
