The Resource Centre Derry Meals on Wheels Service (360G-tnlcomfund-0045370431)

The Resource Centre Derry is using a £173278 grant to expand their Meals on Wheels Service to provide nutritious dinners for 120 older vulnerable people five days a week. Delivering the meals will also provide an opportunity to check-in on people’s health and wellbeing and signpost to other services. The two-year project will reduce loneliness promote independent living and help relieve the stress caused by rising food costs and energy prices. The project will also allow those being discharged from hospital to settle back into their home and reconnect with the community.
