The grant will be used by the group over four years to deliver their Disability Rights Advocacy programme training 40 young people with muscle-weakening conditions to become peer advocates. Through the programme they will develop knowledge skills and confidence in health literacy disability rights social advocacy and leadership to enable them to go on to deliver workshops to other young people providing training in disability rights and campaign and self-advocacy skills.
